These terms cover the Selfscovery app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and Windows, the Selfscovery Quizzes plugin for WordPress, and this website. Selfscovery is made by Adlegiant (“we”, “us”). By using Selfscovery you agree to these terms.
Using Selfscovery
Selfscovery lets you build recommendation quizzes and share them on devices and websites. You can use it for yourself or your business. If you use it for a business, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.
Your quizzes and content
- Your quizzes, products, images and data are yours. They’re stored on your devices and on the sites and stores you connect; we don’t receive them.
- You’re responsible for what you publish, and for having the right to use the products, images, text and data in your quizzes.
- Recommendations depend on the answers, features and weights you set. Check a quiz before you publish it, especially anything written by AI.
Selfscovery Pro
Building and editing quizzes is free. Selfscovery Pro adds sharing, publishing, preview, in-store mode, analytics and live updates. See Pricing and subscription for what’s included.
- Where you buy it. Pro is sold through the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Microsoft Store, at the price the store shows before you buy. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your store account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free month. Your first month can be free. A store free trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends; on some platforms you can instead start a free month without payment details, after which Pro pauses until you subscribe. Each person gets one free month.
- Cancelling and refunds. Manage or cancel in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policies.
- One subscription per store account. A subscription belongs to the Apple, Google or Microsoft account that bought it and can be restored on that account’s other devices. Teammates need their own.
- When Pro ends. Building and editing keep working. Quizzes you already published stay up and keep their saved results, but live rankings, analytics, sharing and publishing pause until you subscribe again.
- We may change Pro’s features or price in the future. Price changes follow the store’s rules, including any notice and consent it requires.
Other services you connect
Selfscovery works with services you choose and run under your own accounts, such as OpenRouter for cloud AI, WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify and your databases. Their terms and prices apply, and you pay them directly. We aren’t responsible for those services. AI models can make mistakes, so review what they write.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Selfscovery to break the law, mislead or harm people, infringe someone else’s rights, send spam, or attack, overload or get unauthorized access to any system, including the sites and databases you connect. Don’t try to get around the subscription checks. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the app, except as the law allows.
The WordPress plugin
The Selfscovery Quizzes plugin is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. That licence governs your use of the plugin’s code.
Apple users
If you got Selfscovery from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
Disclaimers
Selfscovery is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that quizzes will produce any particular sales or results.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about Selfscovery is limited to the amount you paid for Selfscovery Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date above, and for significant changes we’ll give notice in the app or on this site. You can stop using Selfscovery at any time. We may suspend access if someone breaks these terms.
