Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Selfscovery helps businesses and creators build recommendation quizzes. It’s designed so your information stays on your own devices, sites and accounts. Selfscovery is made by Adlegiant (“we”, “us”); this policy covers the Selfscovery app, the Selfscovery Quizzes plugin for WordPress, and this website.

What stays on your device

  • The quizzes you create, including text, images, scoring and results. We don’t receive them.
  • Passwords, keys and logins you enter, such as your OpenRouter key, WordPress application password, WooCommerce or Shopify access, and database logins. They’re kept in your device’s secure storage.
  • In-store (Device quiz) statistics: anonymous counts kept on the device.

What leaves your device, only when you choose

  • Cloud AI. When you create a quiz with cloud AI, your description and any files or catalogue summaries you attach go through your own OpenRouter account to the AI model you pick. OpenRouter’s and the model provider’s privacy terms apply. We don’t receive this content.
  • Stores and databases. When you build from WooCommerce, Shopify or a database, the app reads from it directly using the access you gave it.
  • Publishing. When you publish to WordPress, the quiz goes straight to the site you connected. For Shopify, you save the quiz file and add it to your store yourself.

Quizzes on your website

Quizzes published with the Selfscovery Quizzes plugin record anonymous daily counts (starts, questions reached, answers and results chosen, link clicks) in your own WordPress database. What visitors type is never sent. The plugin sets no cookies of its own. With WooCommerce, a visitor who follows a quiz result into your store is noted in WooCommerce’s shopping session so an order can be credited to the quiz. Live rankings send only the visitor’s answers to your own site. We don’t receive any of this. You can turn statistics off in the plugin.

If you run quizzes on your site, you’re responsible for telling your visitors about them in your own privacy policy.

Subscriptions

Selfscovery Pro is sold through Apple, Google and Microsoft, and, on Apple and Google, managed with RevenueCat. They handle payment; we never see your card details. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier so the app can tell whether Pro is active (RevenueCat’s privacy policy). A free month started without payment details is remembered on your device only.

This website

selfscovery.com sets no cookies and has no forms. It’s hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, and may count page views for us without cookies (Cloudflare’s privacy policy). If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and keep a record of the conversation.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or share personal information, show ads, track you across other apps or websites, or put analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.

Children

Selfscovery is a business tool and isn’t directed at children under 13.

Your choices

  • Delete quizzes in the app at any time; uninstalling the app removes its data from the device.
  • Disconnect a store, database or OpenRouter account in the app to remove its saved access.
  • To revoke the app’s access to your WordPress site, delete the “Selfscovery” application password in your WordPress profile.
  • To ask about or delete emails you’ve sent us, write to us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above, and for significant changes we’ll give notice in the app or on this site.
