Create quiz → Create from Shopify reads your whole catalogue: enter the store’s address (such as mystore.myshopify.com). Nothing to set up; only a password-protected store, such as a development store, needs its storefront password.
Answers weigh collections, product types, vendors, tags, options such as “Color: Red”, and On sale, In stock, Lower price (cheapest first) and Best sellers (Shopify’s best-selling order). A quiz built by hand gets a budget question.
To publish: Share quiz → Publish to Shopify. Save the quiz script, upload it in your Shopify admin under Content → Files, then in Online Store → Themes → Customize add a Custom Liquid section to any page and paste the line Selfscovery shows. To update the quiz, save the script again and use Replace on the file. Publishing is part of Selfscovery Pro.
Quizzes don’t have to come from the store: any quiz can be published to Shopify and shows its own results.
With Live results on, the published quiz ranks every product, new ones included, in the shopper’s browser when they finish: it reads the catalogue straight from your store, so nothing is hosted anywhere else. If the store can’t be read, the quiz shows its saved results. Device quizzes on a device connected to the store rank live too.
